Kaka's career has been marked by success since his Sao Paulo debut at the age of 19. The newest member of the Madridista family now begins a new chapter in his career with new goals to be accomplished.

Experts say that footballers peak at the age of 26 or 27. Kaka is exactly 27 years and two months old at the time of his arrival at Real Madrid. The Brazilian midfielder hasn't wasted any time since becoming a professional and has won almost every title possible, so with a new chapter about to begin, Kaka's goal is to maintain the same rhythm of success that he has always enjoyed.

Kaka began playing professinal football in 2001. His first major accomplishment didn't have to wait long; that same season he helped guide Sao Paulo to the Torneio Rio-Sao Paulo and one year later to the Super Campeonato Paulista. By the end of 2003 Kaka was on the move to AC Milan, where his collection of trophies continued to increase.

The young Brazilian adapted quickly to his new team and in his first year he won the European Super Cup. The following season Milan won the Italian league and Super Cup, and Kaka was named the Seria A Footballer of the Year.

Kaka's most productive year came in 2007. Milan won the Champions League and Kaka finished as the competiton's top scorer and best forward. He also played a key role in the team's Club World Cup title, of which he won the Golden Ball. Later that season his picked up the FIFPro World Player of the Year award, followed by the Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year
